Fun with cousin

Ryan and Lani visited CA last week, and we had some time to hang out with them.
Campbell and Maddox are same age (Only 3 weeks difference), and they had so much fun together in Disneyland and at the beach.
They are cute 3 years old kids. ;)

Moms and babies

My friends came over to our place to hang out together.
I met both friends from my previous work places. I met Daun when I worked for Ernst & Young Korea, and I met Kira when I worked for JPAK, my last work place.
Our friendship started from work places, but now we are all moms, and our most of conversations are about babies! Haha.
They're amazing moms, and I love to talk with them. :)

Korean Thanksgiving

We celebrated Korean Thanksgiving dinner with Brian's parents. I made some Korean food, and Campbell did such a good job helping me.
I was nervous to cook like always, but I was glad it turned out good (I love to have generous guests like Brian's parents ;) )
I was thinking of my parents who live far, and miss their daughters, and it made me sad.
I wish we lived closer...
Anyway, it was fun night, and I would like to keep Korean traditions every year.

Ritz-Carlton resort hotel

We spent one night at the hotel (My brother-in-law gave us free room). We had so much fun at the hotel swimming pool with church friend, and enjoyed a lot the beautiful view. It was a good relaxing day.

Preschool

Campbell started preschool in August. I was searching her school since last year, and put waiting list in the early of this year for few montessori schools and Korean school. We started to hear some available spots from the schools in spring and early of this summer, and I FINALLY (maybe too much thinking before the decision, haha) decided Spectrum Montessori as her first school. Actually I was going to start in July, but Brian wasn't ready yet, so we waited one more month.
Campbell seemed pretty excited about school.
She talked about what she learned (actually trying to teach me haha) and her friends. And she said she likes her teacher.
Teacher said she didn't listen very well for the first two days (according to teacher, Campbell didn't like to follow the rule, and when teacher asked, she said "I'm going home!" I can totally imagine. haha) but she is much better from her third day.

I'm so glad her first big adventure goes pretty well, but I have to say I pray for her everytime I drop her to school, and I look at the time every 30 mins at least. 4 hours two times a week is too long time! Haha
And also every time she gets in the car after school, she asks me "Mommy, did you miss me?"... I hug her tight and whisper to her ear, "I really missed you"...
I love this little girl more than anything.

Go Angels!

Campbell loved to eat peanut, but she said "Daddy, I don't like fireworks" hundred times during the game.

Imogen loved dancing with music and clapping with other people, but she didn't like fireworks either. ;)

Campbell's 3rd birthday party

Campbell had really great birthday this year.
She went to Disneyland with Brian and Brian's dad, and spent a whole day there.
She had a little birthday celebration at preschool, and we brought a cupcake to share with other kids.
Wen went for pony ride for the last activity before her birthday.
We had a party in Campbell's birthday at the park, and we had such a great time!!!
Campbell looked so happy, and we loved to see her smile.
I can't believe Campbell is already 3 years old!!!
She is so sweet, smart, fun and such a happy girl! She is great!!!
We love her very very much!

Imogen's 1st Birthday Party

We celebrated Imogen's 1st birthday party in July. I was so behind on uploading old pictures to our blog, and it has been so long, so I decided to upload Campbell and Imogen's b-day pictures first.
We planned to have Imogen's birthday party at a restaurant, but we changed our plan and had it at our place only with immediate family because she was sick around that time.
Brian was in charge of the dessert table, and I was in charge of making the Korean traditional table and to decorate the room. Brian's mom came down before the birthday party, and she helped to bake a cake and make desserts, etc.
It turned out great! Imogen was so cute in her dress and Korean traditional dress. She picked noodles (which means a healthy and long life) first (she was hungry, and she picked the noodles saying bba-bba - food as baby word in Korean-haha) and then rice (wealth) and then brush (scholar).
We just love her so so so much. I love to see her own personality and all her development.  We were so grateful to have so many family members there with us to celebrate Imogen's special day.
