Chair
Brian bought this chair for Campbell when she was still inside me. At that time, Brian was pretty excited about this chair by imagining the baby will sit on it someday.
This morning, Campbell started her morning by reading a book on this chair, and I thought the time goes soooo fast!
주아 아빠가 주아가 태어나기 전에 이 의자를 샀다. 이 의자에 언제 앉으려나...한참 멀게만 느껴졌는데, 오늘 아침 주아가 일어나 제일 먼저 이 의자에 앉아 독서 하는 모습을 보면서 세월이 정말 빨리 지나간다는 생각을 했다.

Learning songs and books
Recently Campbell has surprised me several times. When I read a book or sing a song for her, I've found out she definitely listens and learns things.
The other day, we were listening to a cd with kid's songs, and Campbell started to sing one song from it. It was just a "ba ba ba" song, so the words are pretty easy, but she tried to follow the rhythm and melody together.
Another story is when I was reading a Three Little Pigs book to her. I've read the story several times, and each time as we read about the wolf blowing the houses down, I'd make a blowing noise. Today, as I turned to the page where the pictures show the wolf blowing the houses down, she started to make the same blowing sound before I'd started reading or making the sound! Really cute.
최근 주아가 몇가지 일로 우리를 놀라게 했다. 내가 주아를 위해 책을 읽어 주거나 노래를 불러줄때 주아는 주의깊게 듣고 있었던 것이다.
지난 날 내가 주아를 위해 어린이 음악 cd를 틀어 주었을때, 주아가 한 노래를 따라하기 시작했다. 가사가 "바 바 바" 였기 때문에 제법 쉬운 노래였지만 여전히 리듬과 멜로디를 따라하는 주아를 보고 놀라지 않을 수 없었다.
또 한가지 일은, 내가 주아에게 '아기돼지 삼형제와 늑대' 이야기를 읽어주고 있었을 때였다. 매번 주아에게 이 책을 읽어줄때 늑대가 짚으로 만들어진 집을 불어 날려버리는 장면이 나오면 나는 후우우 하고 늑대처럼 집을 날려버리는 시늉을 하곤 했는데 오늘은 그 책장의 그림을 보더니 주아가 먼저 후우우~ 하고 소리를 내는 것이었다. ㅎㅎ 어찌나 귀엽던지 꼬옥 안고 한참을 뽀뽀해 주었다.
Loving doggies
Brian and I definitely like a dog a lot. We both were grown up with dogs, and maybe someday we might get our dog. It seems Campbell is like us. She is a careful baby, so she wants to take a time to get to know about the dog all the time before touching dogs, but she is definitely interested in dogs all the time, and she can't just pass any dog when she meets them. Sometimes, Campbell cries when dogs barks loudly or moves unexpectedly, but she still wants to be a friend slowly with doggies.

언제나 조심스러운 주아는 강아지에 덥석 달려들진 않지만 어느정도 거리를 두고 강아지에게 말을 걸고 조금씩 거리를 좁혀 가면서 접근하기를 멈추지 않는다. 강아지가 크게 짖거나 갑자기 예상치 못한 움직임을 보이면 겁이나서 울기도 하지만 그러면서도 강아지 옆을 떠나기 싫어한다. ㅋㅋ
At the Santino's birthday party
There was Brian's cousin Art & Patty's son, Santino's 5th b day party last Saturday. The party was really fun, and we could see families. And of course, our Campbell definitely had a fun time.
