Pretty pretty

Since Imogen can sit up by herself, I thought it's time to take more pics of Imogen. This time she was a model with one of her grandma's Christmas gifts. She was absolutely cute on it.

Pacific Marine Mammal Center

We visited PMMC today.
Pacific Marine Mammal Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of marine mammals. It was small but well organized neat place, and today we could see several rescued seals or sea lions.

Nice daddy

Brian was leaving for golf, and Campbell was following him.
Campbell: where are you going?
Brian: I'm going to play golf.
Campbell: I'm going to play too.
Brian: Do you wanna play golf? When I get home, we can talk about it.
Campbell: Ok.
(And I heard the door is closed, and Campbell was coming up and murmuring by herself)
Campbell: ... Daddy is nice.

Learning about recycling

We went to Discovery museum again. This time Campbell loved the exhibit about recycles. One of her favorite things to do is watching trash truck every Thursday from the window, so I was trying to explain about what's the idea about recycling. It seemed Campbell was trying to listen to me, and also she loved to play recycling game there.

Recent Campbell's talk

1. Our new home teacher came to our place the other day for the first time, and Campbell played a little bit with him before the lesson.
When he left, whole family went downstairs to say bye, and as soon as we closed the door, Campbell said... "He is nice...nice guy..."

2. Campbell: Mommy, I want some cereal.
Me: Ok, you need to sit on your high chair.
Campbell: Never mind. (And she walked away)

3. Brian was going to his office for work.
Campbell: Can I come?
Brian: ......
Campbell: Ok. I'm coming.
Brian: ???

4. We were driving, and Campbell started to talk to us.
Campbell: Mom, I dropped shoes. Can I get it?
Me: Campbell, we're driving now. I can't help you. Can you wait?
Campbell: Daddy, daddy can reach?
Brian: No. Sorry, Campbell, I can't reach.
Campbell: How about Imogen?
Imogen: zzz

Visit to the Lake Arrowhead ward

Brian's parents gave a talk at church today after mission. It was a great talk, and I had tear for few moments from their talk. We're so proud of you, and we love you.

Exotic bird store

We visited a bird store which welcomes kids's visit. It had a few beautiful parrots we can touch, and Campbell was so excited about it. Also one parrot talked to Campbell "Hi, baby!" when we were walking by. Campbell was so surprised and excited about it, and the bird even followed Campbell when Campbell was moving. We had fun time.

Trip to northern CA

We visited my sister's this time. We had such a fun time with family, and Campbell and Imogen loved to hang out with their cousins. However, our car was broken, and we had to wait to fix the car and took a long time to decide our new car. It was kind of pain, but we got our new car at the end, and we are so excited about it.

Brian's parents made our New Year's Day special. Brian and I went out for New Year's Eve dinner, and we had a good food and watched a football game together on New Year's Day.
