Happy birthday

It was Brian's birthday last Tuesday, and we had Korean bbq for the birthday dinner with family.
Happy birthday to my amazing husband!

We were so glad to have parents this time, but the actual reason they came to CA was that aunt Sharon was not doing well. She passed away last monday morning. She was one of the most sweetest people I've ever met, and it was hard to believe she was getting close to leave us. We love you so much, and will miss you a lot, Sharon.

Cousin's visit

Chelsea and girls visited OC for fun, and they stayed our place for one night. Campbell was so excited to have her cousins at our home, and had a fun time together.

May 2012

I wanted to take a picture of Campbell before she gets 2 years old and also new baby comes. Natalie found a little hill covered with pretty yellow flowers, and she took some professional pictures for Campbell. Although it was a little bit tough for two pregnant women, we had really fun time, and I really appreciated Natalie's amazing job!

We moved to the new place last month. We had great memories in the old house, but we love new place, and we are excited to have a new member of our family soon here.
Pictures are about Campbell during our moving time.

We packed Campbell's crib too early, so Campbell slept with us a couple of weeks. When we say 'Let's go to bed, Campbell', Campbell ran to our bed, and she was so happy to lay down.

Campbell missed her nap time, and she fell a sleep during the lunch time.

1st Daddy Daughter Date!

As part of Mother's Day a few weeks back, I set up an appointment for Moonsung to go get her hair cut at a nice salon near our place.  While she was there, Campbell and I went on our first official Daddy-Daughter Date!  First up was a ride on Campbell's number one favorite activity: riding the horsies.  I think if she could spend the whole day on there.

Next up, we went to Ruby's Diner for lunch for cheeseburgers, corndogs, french fries, and fruit.  When we finished, we headed next door to the movie theater to try our luck at Campbell's first movie.  I thought she'd like to see Disney's Chimpanzee movie since she seems to really like monkeys and apes, and it seemed like she actually did, but sitting still proved to be too much for her, and I mostly ended up apologizing to other people for her walking around.  We left after about 5 minutes of actual movie time.  Next time, I'm not going into the theater until the movie is actually starting.  We wasted good time watching previews and popcorn and candy singing.

After the very brief movie, we decided to get "ice keegee" at Pinkberry.  Campbell just ate the blueberries (baybears) off the top, which probably was a good, healthy idea.  Moonsung was feeling pretty tired after her outing to the salon, so Campbell and I went down to Doheny to meet Ryan and Lani who were visiting for the weekend.  Campbell must have been tired because she was content to stay in her chair most of the time.  We roasted some hot dogs and played a little with the other kids until Campbell gave me a hug and said let's go (kaja in Korean).

What a fun day we had together!  A perfect first date with my little best friend.

Campbell and Chloe at Irvine great park
Walking around with Chloe at Orange
We turned Campbell's car seat forward because Campbell grew up so much, and she couldn't be comfortable anymore in backward-facing car seat. Campbell was so excited to see the view from the car, and couldn't stop to point out and talk about stuff she can see.
Ryan, Lani and Maddox visited CA. We had dinner at Rockin' Crawfish together. (Campbell is showing Maddox how to turn on or off this music machine in the picture. It seems Maddox doesn't care about it though. haha)
Birth preparing class. It's getting close!
