Learning songs and books

Recently Campbell has surprised me several times. When I read a book or sing a song for her, I've found out she definitely listens and learns things.

The other day, we were listening to a cd with kid's songs, and Campbell started to sing one song from it. It was just a "ba ba ba" song, so the words are pretty easy, but she tried to follow the rhythm and melody together.

Another story is when I was reading a Three Little Pigs book to her. I've read the story several times, and each time as we read about the wolf blowing the houses down, I'd make a blowing noise. Today, as I turned to the page where the pictures show the wolf blowing the houses down, she started to make the same blowing sound before I'd started reading or making the sound! Really cute.

최근 주아가 몇가지 일로 우리를 놀라게 했다. 내가 주아를 위해 책을 읽어 주거나 노래를 불러줄때 주아는 주의깊게 듣고 있었던 것이다.

지난 날 내가 주아를 위해 어린이 음악 cd를 틀어 주었을때, 주아가 한 노래를 따라하기 시작했다. 가사가 "바 바 바" 였기 때문에 제법 쉬운 노래였지만 여전히 리듬과 멜로디를 따라하는 주아를 보고 놀라지 않을 수 없었다.

또 한가지 일은, 내가 주아에게 '아기돼지 삼형제와 늑대' 이야기를 읽어주고 있었을 때였다. 매번 주아에게 이 책을 읽어줄때 늑대가 짚으로 만들어진 집을 불어 날려버리는 장면이 나오면 나는 후우우 하고 늑대처럼 집을 날려버리는 시늉을 하곤 했는데 오늘은 그 책장의 그림을 보더니 주아가 먼저 후우우~ 하고 소리를 내는 것이었다. ㅎㅎ 어찌나 귀엽던지 꼬옥 안고 한참을 뽀뽀해 주었다.
